China donates 130 ventilators to help Philippines battle COVID-19

Chinese FM speaks of need for clear-cut framework for China-U.S. relations

The China-U.S. relationship needs to be recalibrated, said William Zarit, chairman of American Chamber of Commerce in China, adding that statesmanship is required.

Zhao said China has a huge market of 1.4 billion people and a complete industrial support system, and many authoritative international organizations believe that China injects confidence and momentum into the world economic recovery.

"I dont think theres an evidence that any company is giving such information to the Chinese government. People make these allegations, but they never show any evidence," said Cui in response to the U.S. governments allegations that TikTok might give its data to the Chinese government when he was attending the 2020 Aspen Security Forum on Aug. 4.

"When you are not able to kiss your kid because you are doing dangerous work, this is one of the sacrifices in your life," he said.

China will continue to pursue development and progress to meet the desire of its people and make new, even greater contributions to mankind, he said.

Maggiorelli said he agreed with the Chinese foreign minister that it was futile for the United States to try and interfere in Chinas internal affairs, saying it underestimated the strong bond between the Chinese people and the ruling Communist Party of China.

"Anyone who attempts to derail this process can only end in failure," said Wang. Enditem

"People cannot assume other people are doing all these things just because they are exactly doing the same thing in other countries. This is the problem. Some people are doing all these things in other countries. But now they are blaming other countries doing such things. We never do these," he said.

"We are always ready to develop a China-U.S. relationship featuring no conflict, no confrontation, mutual respect and win-win cooperation based on coordination, cooperation and stability," he added.

Non-interference in other countries internal affairs is a basic norm governing international relations, and no country will allow other countries to flagrantly sabotage its sovereignty or territorial integrity, said Wang.
